1. What is Telegraph?
Telegraph isa service which is accepted through PTT and transmitted electronically and then distributed to the mentioned addresses by PTT Official.
2. How telegraph can be send over Internet?
In case of clicking the 'E-Telegraph' link over our corporate website 'www.ptt.gov.tr', 'retail customer entrance' and 'subscriber entrance' will come to the screen. It is not possible to access to the website for our customers, who are not subscribed through 'retail customer entrance'. When you click on the mentioned link, the page, in which you may enter information on the transaction of wiring telegraph, will be opened.
3. What is the "e-telegraph subscription agreement"?
'Subscriber Entrance' link has been prepared for e-telegraph subscribers to send telegraph over Internet. Our subscribers may enter over here with their passwords and they can send telegraph.
In case of signing an 'E-telegraph subscription agreement' in any PTT workplace and becoming a subscriber, all subscription information on required documents and real and legal persons are introduced to our system. Therefore, all telegraphs, including the telegraphs required identification, of our customers are accepted in their homes or workplaces over internet without having to come to our PTT workplaces. The cost can be paid by credit card as well as collecting from his / her postal cheque.
In the meantime, in case of signing 'E-telegraph subscription agreement', the "customer user password" is reported to you through SMS.
4. In what ways does the fee of Telegraph obtain?
The fee of telegraph can be charged in cash during the acceptance in our PTT workplaces and it can be also collected by credit card, his / her postal cheque account (for the subscribers who sign "e-telegraph subscription agreement") or this fee can be reflected to the telephone bill.
When the type of payment is selected as credit card, it is not possible to call back with phone. When the type of payment is mentioned as telephone bill, it has been called back only for verification. Whatever the type of payment may be (telephone bill or credit card), the message, which indicates the confirmation or refusal of the telegraph, is sent to mentioned e-mail address by the receiver.
5. What is the importance of the barcode number with 13 digits that begins with TG?
During the acceptance of telegraph, a barcode number with 13 digits started with TG is produced by the system. With this barcode number, through telegraph section over our official www.ptt.gov.tr website from the entrance of retail customer, you can click on 'E-Telegraph Transactions' on menu left, and you can reach 'E-Telegraph Tracking' section and make questioning.
On the other hand, as there must be a barcode number in order to question the telegraph, this number should be registered (kept) by our customers.
6. What kind of telegraphs require the determining of the identification?
The telegraphs to the advantage or disadvantage of the addresses materially and morally.
The telegraphs contrary to general morals and manners.
The telegraphs containing insult, threat and crime.
The telegraphs containing words, terms, figures or letters that are not used as their normal meanings and fakewords or the figures expressing a secret meaning and the telegraphs written by a code.
The telegraphs written by a foreign language.
Following the examination whether telegraph requires identification from the point of content, the approval will be given and the telegraph will reach to destination centre and then it will be distributed to the mentioned address by the distribution officers.
If telegraph requires identification from the point of content, the sender will be informed by e-mail about the reason of non-admission and he / she will be informed that the acceptance must be made in PTT Offices and the sender will be invited to our PTT Offices. The fee of non-admitted telegraph will be given back to the sender.
