Mükremin KARA

He was born in Kahramanmaraş-Göksun in 1976. After completing his primary and secondary education in Kahramanmaraş and high school education in Istanbul, he graduated from the Department of Geodesy and Photogrammetry Engineering.

In 1999-2000, he worked as a survey engineer in a private company providing road and infrastructure manufacturing services. After serving as regional rapporteur, Control Engineer, Deputy Director within the scope of urban traffic regulation projects, district traffic circulation projects in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Coordination Directorate between 2000-2009, he was appointed to Directorate of Transportation Coordination in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in August 2014.

He carried out UKOME secretariat services, Traffic Regulation throughout Istanbul and District Traffic Circulation projects, detection, analysis and update studies on Istanbul road networks.

He had the Istanbul Bicycle Master Plan and Bicycle Action Plan be prepared and completed 500 Km bike path implementation projects throughout Istanbul in this context.

He served as Board Member of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Culture Inc. between 2011-2019, and as a Board Member of PTT Information Technologies Inc. between 2020-2021.

He is still serving as the Head of the Transportation Safety Review Center, to which he was appointed by the Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette dated 23.06.2020.

Mükremin Kara is married and has two children.

He was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of our Company on 28/04/2021.​
